Franklin Advanced Materials develops and manufactures a full line of PV metallization pastes for c-Si applications at its facilities in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.  Our PV team of engineers and scientists brings over 75 years of thick film experience to create cost effective and reliable solutions for your PV process.

 

SunAG

Our SunAG front side silver paste series is designed to provide cutting edge cell performance using novel Chemically Active Nanoparticle (CAN) technology. This front side material combined with our LunAL back side aluminum  paste and LunAG  backside silver paste can provide our customers with leading edge wafer performance and value.  We understand that there are differences in wafer construction and materials.  With your wafers, our scientists can create customized paste formulations to help you obtain your desired yield and efficiency goals.

LunAG

Our team has assembled a complete metallization line with cutting edge process and metrology tools to thoroughly test and characterize the solutions that we develop for you. We also offer PV engineering and metrology services with these tools and our skilled engineers.

With eight years of experience developing, manufacturing and testing proprietary SOFC cell designs using tape casting, hot isostatic lamination and screen printing techniques, Franklin AM can provide you with off-the-shelf or custom designed materials for your SOFC project or product. A full line of state of the art cathode pastes, based on La0.8Sr0.2Mn (LSM), are available in both trial and production quantities. These cathodes have been optimized for high surface area and ionic conductivity in the functional layer and high porosity with high electronic conductivity in the current collection layer.

Vehicles and Thinners for use with standard and customized pastes are available for Franklin Advanced Materials Fuel Cell, Photovoltaic and custom compositions. Fuel cell pastes, including anodes, cathodes, electrolytes and infiltratable materials can be optimized in a research or development environment for viscosity/rheology and solids properties by utilizing individual or multiple adjusters, depending on the desired microstructure and thickness requirements.

Setters and cover plates which will be in contact with components are available in green (unfired) or fired format in a variety of standard compositions, porosities, thicknesses and sizes, as well as custom configurations. Optimum configuration allows the highest furnace loading without compromising product yield or product performance.

All Franklin Advanced Materials pastes, vehicles, thinners and green (unfired) tapes are all Phthalate free.
